Ethos
At Ossett Childcare & Pre-School the main ethos is learning through play. Play is the leading form of development for young children. Play enables children to communicate with each other, practice co-operating, sharing, taking turns, and problem solving. Children learn through their senses, exploration, investigation, listening and observing. Play encourages children to be curious about their environment, extends interest and equips them with skills for future learning.
We use a online software to record observation and track your child’s development. This will enable you to see what stage your child is at.
